Surrey Bar Hire are pleased to be able to offer a unique experience.  Belgium creates and is host to a huge variety of beer styles from well established Pale Ales, Saisons, Tripels and Dubbels to the more unusual Flemish sours, Lambics and Geuzes. These varieties  are rich in history and come in the form of hundreds of different brands which are somewhat hard to come by within the UK. We feel that this is a bit of a travesty, especially with the recent rise of craft beer tasting  culture.  We wish to bring these amazing flavours to you!

The roots of the name Bar Steenhoven come from Greg's (Surrey Bar Hire's owner) grandmother's maiden name (Steenhoven) which is of Belgian decent. We often love to pop over to Belgium with friends and family to sample as much as Belgium has to offer. Join us on this tasting journey!

 

Maybe you and your friends are beer lovers and wish to explore parts of your pallet that may never have yet been unlocked? Maybe you would like to offer something different at your party/event? This could a perfect tag on to a stag weekend or maybe even a great addition to a wedding. The beers range from strong brown beers all the way down to weaker fruit beers - All avenues are covered.

 

We offer this service on a pay per head or cash bar service - we can tailor a package suited to your requirements.  A comprehensive menu is supplied at every tasting covering a large range of beers.  We supply tasting bars on a bottle bar basis and supply specialist glassware to suit. Each beer on the menu has literature about the taste and history of the beer for your reference as we would like you to take as much away from the experience as possible.

We operate this service within the Surrey, West Sussex, London general area as we are based in Godalming, near Guildford. We are willing to travel further afield within mainland UK.
